新中国成立初期(1949—1956年),面对国内外错综复杂的严峻形势,以毛泽东为代表的中国共产党人,从国家长治久安的战略高度出发,通过制定法律法规、实行民族区域自治、恢复发展生产、加强民族团结等重大举措,开创了民族地区社会治理的历史新局面。当前,中国特色社会主义进入新时代,民族地区迎来前所未有的发展机遇。新中国成立初期,民族地区社会治理的成功实践,对当前做好民族地区社会稳定工作具有重要启示,为打造共建共治共享的社会治理格局提供了有益借鉴。

In the early years of the People's Republic of China(PRC),facing severe situations at home and abroad,the CPC's first leadership leading by Mao Zedong,took measures to achieve long-term peace and stability,such as making laws and regulations,establishing the system of regional ethnic autonomy,resuming and developing production,strengthening ethnic unity and suppressing reactionaries,and made new advances in the governing over regions of ethnic minorities. Today,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered into a new era,and ethnic regions are embracing unprecedented opportunities for their development. The success of the social governance over ethnic regions in the early years of the PRC bears great significance for the current social stability work in ethnic regions,and the construction of a social governance model based on collaboration,participation,and common interests.
