藏民族传统体育具有悠久的历史,坚实的群众基础,丰富多彩的内容和重要的历史、经济、文化、健身的学术研究价值,巨大的发展优势。如何将这些具有实际功效的传统体育项目通过科学的方法挖掘、整理、推广到全国乃至全世界,使这一民族传统文化得以传承和发扬光大,是目前我们需要研究和探讨的问题。

Tibet is rich in natural resources which makes Tibetan traditional cultures various and abundant,among which Tibetan traditional sports should be a bright pearl.Tibetan traditional sports shows the extensiveness and profoundness of national sports.Furthermore,the colorful contents and long history of Tibetan traditional sports have important research value in tems of economy,culture and health,which has great development advantage.It is a current task to be discussed and fulfilled that how those traditional sports' practical functions can be extended to the whole country even to the world by reganizing and resorting with scientific methods.
