玉树地区处于卫藏、康和安多三大方言区的交界地带。玉树藏语传统上划归康方言。通过对玉树境内的称多县拉布乡的调查,分析当地方言的声韵调系统,指出其清、浊和半浊等声母跟声调共存且具有严格的对应关系,韵母结构相对简单,部分声母、韵母在多音节词内有音变现象,可见该方言的语音面貌整体呈现出一种过渡性的特征。

The Tibetan dialect spoken in Yulshul( in Chinese,Yushu 玉树) Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is distributed at the borderline area of the three main dialects( Weizang,Kham and Amdo) and traditionally classified into the Kham dialect. The fieldwork spot of this article is at Lab( Labu 拉布) Country of Khri. 'du( Chengduo 称多) County,where the dialect is little studied by previous scholars. This article aims to briefly introduce the onsets,rhymes and tones of this dialect,which are characterised by the rigorous correspondence between the onset consonants and the tones,and by the rich word-internal variations of the relatively simple onset consonants and rhymes. All of these features make a transitional visage for this dialect.
